 This goes without saying that Frieza is one of the strongest foes in the history of Dragon Ball. Without any training, he was born a prodigy in terms of powers and strength, and his mere existence trembles the strongest creatures in universes. So how does Freeze become such a fearsome entity? Here are five secrets about Frieza that made him unbeatable in the DragonBall universe.

Frieza can transform endlessly

Frieza’s race is ceaseless. No matter how big or lethal an attack, Frieza can come back twice as strong. This ability is known as Transformation Healing. Throughout the Dragon Ball lore, Frieza transformed multiple times, and his transformation doesn’t seem to stop. Frieza first appeared in Chapter #247: Dark Clouds Swirl Over Planet Namek, where Vegeta’s defeat created turmoil in the universe. In his fight against Goku, Vegeta, and Broly, Frieza transformed multiple times, and his transformation includes suppression form, Charging Form, Super Evolution, Metal Cooler, to name a few.

Frieza doesn’t breathe oxygen

This shouldn’t come as a surprise because Frieza is a celestial being, and he doesn’t need food, air, and shelter like the rest of the species. Frost Demons, who are considered as the core race of Frieza, can survive without intaking oxygen. The Frost Demons’ ability allows Frieza and Co. to travel to new planets and universes without worrying about breathing. Frieza can fight in water, space, land, other planets, and no matter how hard a battle is, he will never run out of breath because he is taking none.

Frieza’s sense of God Ki

Finding your enemies before the battle contributes a 100% victory percentage. Z-Warriors were the first group to harness this technique to kill their enemies ahead of the fighting. Mister Popo and Kami trained the Z-Warriors to master the technique, and Frieza, who was unaware of the God Ki, relied heavily on Scouters to locate their targets. On earth, Frieza fought many battles and won all of them. On his next expedition, he found the people of planet Namek, the home for Goku and Co.

Frieza’s constant battles gained him the powers of sensing God Ki. His continued training in the Gold form and, as a result, the training allowed him to feel others God Ki, and that’s why he was unbeatable on the planet Namek.

Frieza’s perplexity about his height

The Dragon Balls in the DragonBall universe are historic balls that grant any wish to the owner who collects seven of them. Some earthlings wish to look five years younger, while some want to be the best fighter. Amid all the neediness, Frieza was the most desperate individual. In the first half of the lore, he wanted to become an immortal, but after settling down with the people of Namek, Frieza wished to use the Dragon balls to increase his height by five centimeters. In Frieza’s race, he was the shorter one, and to be exact; he was shorter than an average human. This inferiority complex pushed Frieza to find the dragon ball and increase his height, and of course, his self-respect.

Frieza is a Super Saiyan, not precisely though

Frieza can reach powers similar to a Super Saiyan. If he had the funky hair with his gold form, he is, without a doubt, a Super Saiyan. One thing that makes DBZ interesting is the constant training, which makes the characters unlock new skills and new transformations. In Frieza’s training period, he worked hard, and he even did push-ups and pull-ups to unlock his Super Saiyan mode, or should we say- the Gold form mode. Technically, he is not from the Saiyan race. Still, his training paid off, and he eventually becomes a golden version of himself, which resembles the Super Saiyan form used by Goku and Vegeta. Even though he unlocked this new form to mock the Saiyans, he gained the same powers and strength as the Super Saiyan themselves.

Frieza is a force to be reckoned with. He was once the strongest creature in the universe, and our protagonists spend 19 episodes fighting with Lord Frieza. Akira Toriyama made him the most potent foe Goku could have ever defeated, but since he is the protagonist, and he screams the loudest, we might as well give him some support here. Anyway, these are the five secrets about Frieza and his legacy as the strongest villain in the Dragon Ball franchise.
